Whitelist and Blacklist options is another crucial part of the Menu.

They allow people to interact with your items (Whitelist), or you can block out unwanted visitors (Blacklist).

To put players in Whitelist/Blacklist, open the Whitelist/Blacklist window then click the player's name of the left side to put them in Whitelist/Blacklist.

To remove them in Whitelist/Blacklist, click the player's name on the right side to remove them from Whitelist/Blacklist.

Whitelist and Blacklist options can be found on the Menu.Template:HeadingAWhitelist allows players to use your items on your base.

As said on the Whitelist menu:

Players on your interaction whitelist are allowed to interact with all of your items. This includes moving structures, adjusting settings, grabbing items, driving vehicles, cutting wood, etc.

There are also 'trolls' who will pretend to be friendly, but get you to whitelist them so they can help you, or even get a ride in your car, and delete your structures.

Defaultio recently added an update so whitelisted players cannot delete structures but they can still move them.

Players don't need to be whitelisted to fill in blueprints and process wood in your sawmill.Template:HeadingA

The Blacklist option blocks out unwanted visitors; it creates an invisible barrier around your base. Players you blacklist won't be able to enter your base, regardless of whether they are on foot or in a vehicle.

As said on the Blacklist menu:

Players on your blacklist will not be allowed or approach your property. Put players on your blacklist if you wish not to be disturbed while building or if a player is harassing you.

They are also unable to bring wood or trees to the base as the barrier blocks them from coming into the base.

If you blacklist players while they are inside your land, they will get teleported to their base or spawn location. This is the best if you wish to keep scammers, bullies and other players out so you can work in peace.

Note that in laggy servers the blacklist wall will react to the blacklisted person's presence when they are on your base.Template:HeadingAGreylisting can be very useful to both whitelist and blacklist someone so that they can drive your cars, use your axes and pick up your wood while at the same time not being able to enter the base, so that someone could i.e, help you chop wood but not being able to enter and ruin your base.
